Mayank Desai is the Founder of Desai & Co. Mayank has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its founding. The firm is a real estate acquisition and management business operating in Pennsylvania and New York.

Mayank was a banking expert at the FDIC, specializing in bank mergers & acquisitions, structured finance, complex real estate valuations, and capital market securities. Over a +8-year career at the FDIC, he advanced through positions of increasing responsibility and led over $5 billion in bank, real estate, and loan transactions. Prior to joining the FDIC in 2009, he held capital markets positions at Cantor Fitzgerald and began his career as an Analyst at BlackRock Financial Management in New York.

Mayank holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and BBA with Distinction from the Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan. In addition, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.
